Blogging From MD

April... phew that was my last entry! Seems like ions ago! I'm not gonna say that I had no time, I'm going to keep it real and say that blogging was down the list of priorities and that even naps or walking the dogs were ahead of the game. But it's officially Back To School season for my kids... along with that comes the feeling of, well should feel like "Fall" and although the leaves don't turn in Hawaii nor does temperature drop in Hawaii, it always makes me antsy to write or get creative.

Right now I am sitting in a hotel room in Maryland on my last day here with my hubby. What a whirlwind of a summer we have had. There was enough traveling to last us a good few years! Just this few days alone, I've been to Maryland, Virginia, Delaware (drove thru), New York, & Pennsylvania!

Wide Eyed Traveler.

I have always been a "wide-eyed" traveler, I still get excited to board a plane like a little child and I can never sleep on these flights no matter how long they are cause I don't want to miss a thing! I remember as a child looking out the window of our little 2 bedroom apartment and wondering what else is out there. But never in my widlest dreams have I ever tought I would even come close to seeing much of the world as I have now. With each new adventure, I long for a new one, further away to venture on unfamiliar territory. Now that my children are older, traveling does not seem like a chore. In fact, on this latest trip, I decided to leave them at home and enjoy a little R&R with my love. Which would've been unheard of 10 years ago! But that's the joy of having children that are older, the freedom it brings to satisfy the curiosity in me. I am excited for whats ahead for our family and I am looking forward to our next round of travels. We will be venturing to Disneyworld in Florida next summer and I will make this Europe trip come to life sooner rather than later.
